Enrichment
During the year a variety of extra-curricular activities are offered, depending upon the time of the year. Some of the activities are organized by teachers, some by parents and some by outside agencies. There may be a charge for some of the activities. Please see the latest newsletters for a list of current activities.
Outdoor Activities
The children have the opportunity to attend a residential course where they can take part in a variety of activities which promote teambuilding skills and self esteem. Pupils develop valuable relationships and face challenges outside their everyday experiences. R/Yr1 children attend ‘Forest School’ on a regular basis where they can learn through outdoors play.
Community
The School continues to maintain its links with the parish and ensures that tradition is kept alive by continuing with the May Day celebrations.
The Friends of Loddington School (FOLS,our parents’ committee) meet regularly to plan social and fund raising events. The monies they raise are used to support the school.
We have a good number of volunteers who come in to help. Parents, grandparents and friends are always welcome, if you would like to volunteer please contact the head teacher.
