The school sessions are as follows:

The Gate is open from 8:40-8:50am

Morning       8:50am – 12:15pm

Afternoon    1:15pm – 3:20pm

Total weekly hours: 32 hours 30 minutes

A break of 15 minutes is taken in the morning by all children and in the afternoon YR/1 have the opportunity for supervised play.

All children should be accompanied to school and met at the end of the school day by a responsible adult.  If you are unable to collect your child yourself, then please let the school know the arrangements.  We understand that older children living in the village may walk to and from school by themselves and ask that you send a letter stating that these are the arrangements for your child. 

Times

The school gate is open at 8.40am and we ask you not to leave your child outside the gate unsupervised before that time.  Upon arrival, all children go straight to their classrooms, where teachers will be waiting for them.  Any messages or concerns can be passed on to the Headteacher at the gate.

Lunchtime

Children may bring a packed lunch or order a school meal. The children go to the village hall for school lunches, which are provided by our School Catering Provider and packed lunches are eaten in classrooms.  Children are escorted to and from the hall by staff.  Your child can go home for lunch if you prefer, they should be collected at 12.15pm. Children should be returned to school at 1.10pm.
